When I became pregnant with my second daughter I knew I wanted the opportunity to body feed. It’s something Gemma and I never got to experience, and the benefits for baby and I were clear. However, I ended up feeling unprepared for just how challenging the experience can be. In the early days, I was feeding then pumping every two hours. My world quickly began to revolve around milk & so naturally it came to consume my mind. I felt the desire to turn all these lactation thoughts, into things. A way to transmute all of the beauty, struggle, and triumphs into something tangible. My ideas came to life in our breaks between feedings and the still moments during naps. I am pleased to share The Milky Collection; a capsule made of baroque pearls and chain, inspired by the art of body feeding.
